The salon we always wished existed.

Hey Curlfriend, I'm Tash.

I'm half-Zimbabwean and half-Greek, and I grew up never having a salon that understood my hair. Every appointment left me feeling like my curls were something to be managed, straightened or fixed. Nobody was ever taught how to work with texture like mine.

So I built the salon I always needed. The Curl Lab started with six clients. Within seven months we were fully booked, with people travelling up to three hours just to sit in the chair. That was never a flex. It was proof of how long our community had gone without.

What I care about most is what happens when a client sits down and realises, often for the first time, that their hair was never the problem. That's the whole reason we're here.
